  Dear Beltsville Neighbor:                                                      

Spring is around the corner! AND…It is time for the annual Boy Scout mulch, top soil and fertilizer fundraiser. Please consider ordering your lawn and garden supplies from Beltsville's Boy Scout Troop 1033.

bullet DOOR-TO-DOOR DELIVERY -- Your purchase will be brought to you at your home, placed at the location you designate, saving your time, energy, gasoline and keeping your car clean! 
bullet COMPETITIVE PRICES -- Because of the substantial discount given to us by Behnke’s Nursery, we can offer the products at a competitive price even with the modest mark-up that will provide income for our troop. [You will notice slight increases in product prices over this spring’s prices due mainly to the increased cost of transportation.] 
bullet TAX DEDUCTIBLE -- 33% of your total purchase value is a gift to BSA Troop 1033 and is tax-deductible if you itemize your deductions.  Your deduction will be noted on your receipt. 
bulletIF YOU ORDER 10 or MORE UNITS OF A SINGLE PRODUCT -- You can take 5% off the total price of your order!!!

Please look over our list of products, fill out an order form, write your check payable to BSA Troop 1033 for the total amount of your order, and mail your order form and check by Friday March 19th to:

All orders must be received by Friday March 19th to allow for delivery on Saturday, March 27th.  (In case of bad weather delivery will be on Sunday, March 28th.)

Delivery is limited to the Beltsville/Calverton area BUT customers outside the area can pick up their orders in the parking lot (corner of US 1 and Howard Ave.) of Behnke’s Nursery, 11300 Baltimore Ave., Beltsville, MD on the delivery day.

Our goal this year is to participate in as many planned activities celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Boy Scouting including the Centennial Boy Scouting Parade scheduled for Sunday, July 25th in Washington, DC.; scouting on the Mall (Washington DC) the week prior to and following the parade; heritage tree plantings, and centennial camporees.    

Please note that all efforts to organize and operate this sale are 100% volunteered by supporters of Scouting in Beltsville.
